A J Bennewith & Co was formed in 1987 by Tony Bennewith.
Tony had previously been a partner working for the Guildford office of Neville Russell (now Mazars)

After working for Neville Russell for nearly fifteen years, he took the decision to step out on his own, (with two other staff who are still with him today) and look after a number of existing local Clients.

A J Bennewith & Co have since grown and now occupy the same offices that Neville Russell once did at Hitherbury House on the Portsmouth Road in Guildford.
In 1998 Tony's daughter, Heather, joined the company (qualifying as a Chartered Accountant a few years later) and they are now joint partners in the firm.
